Position Overview:As the Tax Manager, you will nurture existing strong relationships with clients as well as build new relationships, provide tailored tax strategies, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of tax preparation and related services. You’ll also lead a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultations, tax return preparation, and financial statement reviews.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Supervise a dedicated team including bookkeepers and administrative support.
• Prepare and/or review T1 and T2 returns and financial statements using TaxPrep and Sage bookkeeping software.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance for tax filings, GST/HST, AgriStability, and AgriInvest submissions.
• Collaborate with government agencies and represent clients in communications with CRA.
• Participate in client appreciation events to build relationships and enhance brand awareness.

What You’ll Bring:Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation or accounting.
• A degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency with tax preparation and bookkeeping software (e.g., TaxPrep, Sage, and/or Xero).
• Experience preparing corporate tax returns for small businesses and farms.
• Strong Canadian tax knowledge, research skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
