Apply today, we’d love to hear from you! #joinourteamWhat You Will Do:Support the Director, Corporate Development in originating, identifying, evaluating and driving suitable corporate investment opportunities in collaboration with respective Enbridge business unitsSupport Identification, execution and negotiation of potential asset divestitures in concert with respective Enbridge business unitsLead execution of Corporate Development related transactions with related project teams comprised of tax, treasury, accounting, legal, business unit representatives and external advisors to complete significant transactions with third-party counterparties, including the management of due diligence workstreamsLead analytical workstreams evaluating key Corporate Development initiativesSupport the preparation of Management and Board materials regarding these acquisitions, divestiture and other Corporate Development initiativesProactively maintain awareness of energy infrastructure developments including peer activities, acquisition opportunities and competitive landscapeMentor analytical and execution support staffWho You Are:Advanced business education from a nationally recognized program (MBA and/or CA, CMA, CFA)10+ years of experience in business preferably within the energy infrastructure segmentInvestment banking or direct M&A experience considered an assetSubject matter expertise and exceptional financial acumen e.g., financial modelling and evaluation, acquisitions, and divestitures & capital investmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of regulatory, accounting, taxation and financing issuesStrong interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsAbility to work and act independentlyWorking ConditionsOffice environmentPeriodic travelNeed to meet multiple shifting deadlines and priorities often with very specific timelinesPerform physical tasks such as lifting objects, reaching, and moving in various terrainsMental Requirements:Ability to comprehend and apply instructions, solve problems collaboratively, articulate ideas clearly, prioritize tasks, make impactful decisions, follow guidelines, and communicate effectively.Enbridge Flex-Work ProgramEnbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
